This Memorial Weekend I was thinking of all the men & women who gave their lives for us. When we visited Normandy, I wept to see all the crosses & stars of David. Oh Lord, help me see You in the midst of this great loss! We walked over to the chapel & there was my answer. On the ceiling a beautiful mosaic of angels carrying soldiers to heaven. Surely when facing death, like the thief on the cross, we all cry out Lord Jesus remember me!
